Dr. Eileen Murphy is a native Chicagoan who grew up in Rogers Park. She received her undergraduate degree at Loyola University before heading to Alabama for veterinary school. In 1993, she graduated from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine and then practiced in Memphis, Tennessee for 11 years, before returning to her home town.

She enjoys bicycling, hiking and camping with her partner, Evie and their son Colin. They often attempt to escape their needy animals, dog Lucy and cats, Pumpkin, Tabitha and Lucy.

Our goal at West Wrigley Animal Hospital is to provide long term care throughout the life of the patient. We have a particular interest in the geriatric patient with special health needs. This is the time when patients need the most chronic care and the most diligent treatment. We want to be able to offer the client all options available and to participate in the education of the client.
