​In House Diagnostic Lab

We use our microscope to assess skin and ear swab samples, looking for parasites and the nature of infections.
We are equipped with an in-house chemistry and cell blood count machine. We use these machines to give us faster results on samples taken from ill animals and for doing pre-anesthesia panels on the day of procedures.
We send out a variety of bloodwork for health checks, testing for heartworm and screening for tick borne disease such as lyme, ehrlichia and anaplasmosis, fecal analysis, urine analysis, to name a few.  We are also able to do serum allergy testing.
